HIMABSI UIN Alauddin Makassar Conducts Upgrading and Work Meeting for the 2025-2026 Period

Makassar, March 9, 2025 – The English Language and Literature Student Association (HIMABSI) of UIN Alauddin Makassar successfully held its Upgrading and Work Meeting (RAKER) for the 2025-2026 period under the theme “Collective Movement: Towards a Progressive and Synergistic HIMABSI.”

The event commenced with an opening ceremony at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities Lecture Theater, followed by Upgrading sessions at the HIMABSI external secretariat on Friday, March 7, 2025. The program was officially opened by Arnida Amir, Chairperson of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities Student Senate.

During the Upgrading session, three key topics were presented: Leadership and Organizational Management, Studentshio, and Main Duties and Functions. Saldiansyah Rusli, Chairperson of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities Student Council, expressed his hope that this management would continue to produce outstanding individuals, just as HIMABSI had done in previous years.

Meanwhile, Erik Avriansyah, Chairperson of HIMABSI, emphasized the importance of teamwork and consistency throughout the administration’s tenure. He urged all members to remain committed and collaborative in achieving organizational goals.

The Work Meeting (RAKER) took place at YAPPMI Sokkolia on Saturday-Sunday, March 8-9, 2025. This meeting aimed to outline the organization's work programs for the upcoming period, ensuring that all members could enhance their capacity and professionalism in managing the organization effectively.

With the successful implementation of this Upgrading and Work Meeting, HIMABSI UIN Alauddin Makassar hopes to foster a more progressive and synergistic student organization in the coming year.
